Pay Attention to the Day of ‘Arafah!
💥 It is not a day for cleaning houses, shopping, sleeping, or relaxing.
💥 It is a day honored by Allah — a day Allah has magnified — a day when Allah boasts to the inhabitants of the heavens about the people standing at ‘Arafah.
It is the Day of Liberation from the Fire, a day of obedience and striving in worship.
The best supplication is the supplication made on the Day of ‘Arafah.
💥 Strive so that not a single breath of yours is wasted except in obedience or drawing near to Allah.
If you possessed a worldly jewel, it would sadden you to lose it — so how can you waste the greatest day of the entire year?
💥 If Laylat al-Qadr is hidden, the Day of ‘Arafah is known and specific.
If the angels descend on Laylat al-Qadr, then Allah Himself descends on the Day of ‘Arafah.
💥 Take advantage of this opportunity and strive your utmost.
Here is a wonderful schedule for the Day of ‘Arafah — share it with your loved ones.
It is only one day in the entire year!
⸻
🌙 Schedule for the Day of ‘Arafah:
1. Sleep early on the night of ‘Arafah to gain strength for worship.
2. Wake before Fajr and eat Suhoor with the intention of fasting this great day.
3. Pray 2 or 4 rak‘ahs and, in sujood, ask Allah for the best of this world and the Hereafter. Thank Him for letting you witness this day of mercy and forgiveness.
4. Spend time in Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) before Fajr to be counted among those who seek forgiveness in the early dawn.
5. Prepare for Fajr five minutes before the adhan. Feel that your sins are being washed away with each drop of wudu water.
6. Recite the du‘aa after wudu.
7. Pray Fajr, then remain in your prayer spot until 15 minutes after sunrise.
8. Begin Takbeer immediately after the prayer:
“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha ill-Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil-hamd…”
9. While sitting in your place, read Qur’an, praise Allah, say dhikr, and don’t forget the morning adhkaar.
10. After sunrise, pray 2 rak‘ahs of Duha (Ishraq prayer) — it will be recorded for you as the reward of Hajj and ‘Umrah with the Prophet ﷺ.
Do not miss this reward!
11. From this point on, try not to sleep if you can.
Don’t waste even one second without dhikr or du‘aa — and be certain that Allah will answer.
12. If needed, take a short nap, intending to regain strength for worship.
13. After resting, make wudu again and pray at least 4 rak‘ahs of Duha prayer, then alternate your worship so you don’t get tired:
Takbeer, dhikr, Qur’an recitation, and especially:
“La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.”
14. Pray Dhuhr, increase in Takbeer, tasbeeh, and recitation of Qur’an.
15. Listen attentively to the Khutbah of ‘Arafah with your heart — let this year be your best ever in implementation, in shaa’ Allah.
16. Pray ‘Asr, say the evening adhkaar, and make takbeer.
17. From after ‘Asr until about one hour before Maghrib, read the Qur’an.
Then begin du‘aa with full humility — reflect on your standing before Allah.
Don’t forget to pray for your brothers and sisters around the world.
18. Beg Allah that the sun of ‘Arafah does not set until you are written among those freed from Hellfire.

💥 May Allah grant us success in righteous deeds.
We ask Him for acceptance and to make us and you among those liberated from the Fire and among the accepted ones.🤲🏻🤲🏻
