There is always a dark cloud surrounding formula1 team funding. The recent complex of team tiers has developed a culture of anti-competitiveness where the top 3 teams (Scuderia Ferrari, AMG Petronas, Aston Martin Red Bull) compete for first place in both the conductors and racers championship. Where such teams as Mclaren, Renault, Toro Rosso compete for the title of 'best of the rest'.

The recent years of AMG/Ferrari dominance can be assessed by the complexities of the organisations flawed financial model . Winning teams get the largest bucket and when the same teams continue to win, this increases the technological gap between the teams cars. This results in less exciting confrontations on the circuit as it can be apparent who has an actual chance of winning.

However along with the removal of DRS, the FiA has commissioned new competition friendly regulations for all teams competing in Formula1. These regulations can be reviewed on their website - https://www.fia.com/regulation/category/110

As advocates of motorsport, here at Alov və Su® we promote better competition on the track, however the culture of funding in the FiA commissions has been in place for many decades; we must wait until 2020 to see if these outlined regulations can offset the deep history surrounding inequality of fund allocation within the sport.

Ə • Alov və Su® • Actionable tips for bettering your lap times. 🏆🏎💨 (RAIUL 7)

So as supporters of Alov və Su® you have undoubtedly spent a lot of your freetime endorsing yourself in everything motorsport. But, other than rocking the stylish racing cap (available at alovvesucouture.com) what can you do to better your game?

We have spent some time and compiled a short list of actionable tips beneficial for both beginners and experienced motorheads taking their skills to the karting circuit. 🏎💨🏎💨🏎💨🏎💨🏎💨

1 ------- PLAYING DEFENCE DOES NOT HELP YOUR CIRCUIT TIME! Sometimes racers focus on what is behind them than what the track in front. Just because no one can overtake you doesn't mean you are in P1. Sometimes retaining the fastest time comes at the psychological cost of your friend taking you on a corner. In many cases it is better not to congest the track and retain speed, regardless of how opponents are racing.

2 ------- KEEP TO THE RACING LINE! To many this may be a basic rule for most, but there are no lanes on traditional circuits, not deviating from the racing line gives you the best chance of taking pole. This can be restricted by the open distance in-front, if you are trailing, do not go for a continuously decreasing gap.

3 ------- FOOT OFF THE BREAK! please take this tip accordingly; on every circuit there are corners and bends where you must break, but if you are breaking to take a slight bend coming off a wide straight, it may be best to lift your foot off the gas earlier and refrain from using the left pedal, giving you the ability to turn at faster speeds - which will also roll over a faster launch coming out of the bend.

4 ------- The best racers keep the wheel as straight as possible, even on bends the racer must bring his wheel back and forth from the center repeatedly. The science behind this comes from tire traction. Tires keep momentum when all 4 wheels are forward facing, so take corners minimal traction (when possible).

It has almost been two years since the tragedy of West London; and as the Alov və Su® offices are based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we cannot ignore the losses of the community.

We are holding a minute of silence on the 14th of each month, from our offices in London to Baku, in honor of our home borough's tragic loss.

Jeremy, 37, successful businessman, petrolhead, F1 superfan, loves everything motorsport. Naturally is an avid member of the Paddock Club and spends ALL his free time on the track or simulator; he has taken over half his fleet on holiday to the Nürburgring, you know this because he tells you 😆 as well as constantly rambling on about the V12 days of the sport and how he considers FormulaE karting. He swears will never buy a Tesla but was the first person in his neighborhood with an i8.

Always traveling on race week, and has not missed a Goodwood festival since '99.

Simon, 17, from Oxford; attends sixthform; has niche sporting interests; lives breathes and eats Formula1; considers the FIA feild manual as important as the King James Bible; Regular at his local karting circuit; spends free time either playing F1 / Forza on the playstation.

Who is Micheal Jordan!? it is pronounced Ayrton Senna! Race week don't talk to Simon, unless you are ready to become sucked into an unnecessarily deep conversation on the seasons in-team rivalries or be bombarded with regulation rumors for 2020.

Simon is generally introverted, he has few like-minded friends but only see them once a month on the track and only contacts them on social media - thus the relevance of "tag your friend" enticing to younger more websocially excitable introverts sharing the same motorsport interests.

Congratulations to the young for his outstanding performance defending against the fierce to take back the home win for the italian after half a decade of AMG Petronas dominance over the Italian circuit.

Only 22 years old, this is his second consecutive win after his champion display on the legendary spa francorchamps circuit just a week prior.

With his unfortunate crash on the Baku city circuit at the beginning of the season, at Alov ve Su, we hope we see him on the Azerbaijani podium as a future (an potentially multiple) world champion!
