Today I would like to continue my endeavours to have the England team hold one minute silence before their opening World Cup game against Croatia. I firmly believe that as a nation we are seeking to find a united way to pay our respects to the memory of Henry Nowak. I have already written to HRH The Prince of Wales, patron of The FA, asking him to invite the players to carry out this wish. I am now writing to all of the Editors of the major national newspapers to have their readership join in with this request. I would ask all of you to please do the same thing to make this happen.

On Monday I posted about the murder and outcome of the trial relating to Henry Nowak. At the same time the police released footage of the body cam recording of the actual incident.
This caused disbelief, anger and frustration across the country. Some protests turned to violence. Something I am sure Henry or his family would not have wanted. This was borne out of a sense on the part of the public of not being able to show their last respects.
My proposal is that at the opening game of England at the World Cup v Croatia on June 17th they pay a 1 minute silent mark of respect to Henry .
I have today written to Prince William, Patron of The PFA and Thomas Tuchel coach and manager of The England Men’s Team suggesting that they invite the players to take part in such a tribute. Our nation would appreciate it and it may heal some wounds. If you agree with me write to HRH The Prince of Wales and Thomas Tuchel. Head coach. As usual the relevant addresses are below.

My profound condolences and Prayers go out to the family of Henry Nowak. A young man murdered by a 23 year old Sikh man, on his way home from a night out with his friends.
The murderers brother phoned the police saying he had been racially abused. A complete lie. The police arrived and ignored the murderer and proceeded to handcuff Henry and read him his rights. He died choking on his own blood. Nine times he told the police he couldn’t breathe. Four times he told the police he had been stabbed. They ignored him and instead handed him cuffed him. My opinion the brother of the murderer and his mother, who concealed the murder weapon, should stand trial for accessories to murder. The police in question should be charged with failure to carry out their appointed duties and be stripped of all benefits and pensions. We need to change the law and ban Sihks from carrying knives. If you want to come to our country you have to obey the law, act civilly and in accordance with our way of life. If not risk being deported!
Finally our Prime Minister has acted shamefully, his silence has been deafening. Typical I’m afraid of the weak, spineless, morally corrupt man that he is.
My thoughts remain with Henry. A fine young man. RIP.
