Some of the beautiful people of Wilderness Festival 💫 Thank you for an amazing sixth year, I absolutely buzz off meeting and chatting to everyone who comes by the stall ❤️ Saw many old faces and met some lovely new ones, and what a joy it is to see Mr P pieces go off to their forever homes! I had no idea how much the fur gilets and heart waistcoats were gonna be such a winner with the guys!! Lots of love to everyone and thank you so so much to my mum and Bex for all their help running the stall! And Jason for helping set up 🪩 💖

OBSESSED!!!!!! With Emma and Ali, at their wedding, in their coats they bought from us at Wilderness festival last year 🪩🍸🤍 I remember these two so clearly trying the coats on and loving them - so so cool to see them being rocked at their wedding, thanks so much guys! 🤍🤍🤍

Just accepted our offers to trade back at wilderness and Latitude this summer ❤️
We were last at Latitude in 2024 and it will be our 6th year at Wilderness!

FESTI SEASON IS KICKING OFF! Can’t wait to be back at the Crockstead Fields Weekender this May bank holiday, near Lewes East Sussex, on Friday 22nd May ❤️❤️
The weather is meant to be BANGING! So I will be creating a little alfresco one-stop festival garm shop, open for ONE DAY ONLY with vintage kaftans, our statement coats, my hand made pieces and lots of other bits!
Really excited to be back with the Crockstead crew - there are so many activities throughout the day like sauna sessions in the wellness area, pub quiz, cinema screenings, fancy dress and kids parade, garden games, great food and drink, comedy and acoustic sound sessions, which then take you into the evening with late night DJs 😍 The family friendly vibe they have created is magic ✨ See you next week in the field!!

looking utterly chic in her Mr P vintage kaftan in Morocco ❤️ We did many pop ups with Sienna on Portobello and she bought this kaftan one of those times, a few years ago. Love seeing pieces being worn time and time again ❤️

As I packed up this emerald bomber which is off to Belfast today, I thought it would be good to mention that this is the last EVER run of these Mr P embroidered velvet bomber jackets.
Once they sell out they will be gone forever! They were our best sellers at the festivals last year so I anticipate the same this year, but all good things must come to an end.
I have a few at the moment in each size of the new jewel colours but maybe only 2 of the fawn and rose which were two of the original colour ways.
Wanted to let people know as know some of you have had you eyes on certain colours, which I am incredibly grateful for! X###

Sitting down getting those festival applications in today 😍😍😍 COME ON SUMMER!!!! Dreaming of the sun and the fields and all you lovely mental lot in our coats and designs ❤️❤️❤️ It’s the main time I do in person selling, and also get a chance to explain about the brand and us to anyone who comes by the stall. It’s my absolute fave 🫶🏼 If there’s a festival you think would suit us please let me know? Can’t wait to see you all in a few months time 🥰

The gorgeous styling up the little indigo and the little black fox coats in shop of dreams ❤️😍 If you haven’t had a chance to visit Kate yet in her shop Echo and Dust in Stow on the Wold, you really really need to. She’s poured her heart and soul into it and created such a vibe with her curation of small brands and vintage pieces, coupled with her handmade jewellery which is MEGA ###

Spent the end of last year in the midst of an identity crisis 😂 with trying to capitalise on Christmas came an obsession with sales, online engagement and presence, and how much better everyone else was doing! All felt icky and made me v anxious. This was coupled with struggling at how my own interests align with the brand of Mr P.
Taking it over from my brother along with his and my mums ideas and the beautiful creations they had made in collaboration with different makers, meant it already had its own brand identity. I’ve felt a bit lost running along with it whilst trying to put my own stamp on things. It all became a bit of a chaotic mish mash on here and in my head.
So I just wanted to share my side account, originally called Miss Portobello, but now renamed - somewhere I can showcase things I’ve made as well as explore my love for the old - vintage fabrics/photographs/tiles & interiors/furniture/second hand clothes/fashions & crafts of the past, without it spilling all over here and detracting from the essence of Mr P ❤️ as everything felt a bit confusing!
If you’d like to follow along please do, am currently bursting with ideas of bits I’d like to make, and hopefully they’ll be good enough lol to bring along to all the fairs and festivals Mr Portobello will be doing this year! ###xx
