Sourced from Grow, an agroecological farm in North London, and one of our 1% For the Planet charity partners, these beautiful posies are our way of sharing the joy of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show beyond the show grounds.

Last Friday, the MONC team spent the day volunteering at an agroecological farm in North London and one of our 1% for the Planet charity partners.

A few visits back, we weeded and prepared a bed for perennial flowers and vegetables. The first peonies and asparagus are now coming through, which is so rewarding to see.

This time, we planted lettuces and picked flowers to bring to our stores this week - our way of marking the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. We will be handing out seasonal posies to customers and friends who visit us at Chiltern St and Monmouth St in the coming days.

Stop by and take some beautiful British flowers home with you.

We’re back at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

This year, our lens sculpture by Yorkshire-based artist gets its Chelsea debut. Made from 1,400 discarded single-use and expired prescription lenses, it draws attention to a real waste problem within the eyewear industry.

With Timber, the beauty is always within - Peter Bonsall

The floor at 17 Monmouth Street is made of reclaimed wooden beams left behind from a demolished house in Staffordshire.

A past life stripped away, revealing a beautiful patina.

The growth rings indicate short warm summers and very long cold winters where the trees of this wood once grew.

Over 4,800 individual pieces were cut to create this cross-hatch pattern. They were then glued to plywood boards, which can be easily removed and relaid, should we ever move location.

A big thanks to Peter and his team at Blueridge flooring for their craftsmanship and experimental courage.

The beauty within is now on display. Come see for yourself.

17 Monmouth Street continues what Chiltern Street started - experimenting with materials, processes and collaborations that shape the space from the ground up.

It’s also home to MONC Eyecare. A complete eye health service - approached in our own way. Unhurried, personal, and precise.

Just around the corner from our new store on Monmouth Street, Jacob and Nina worked on the final version of the pendant lamp.

Too large and delicate to transport far, we were kindly given access to an empty unit in Neal’s Yard to complete the work, just a stone throw away from our store.

30% pine resin, 70% beeswax.

Layered on in generous brushstrokes.

We can’t wait to show you how it looks in the store.

A pair of our spectacles will pass through 10 artisans’ hands multiple times before it’s complete. Here, Giovani is working on an important step where the frame is given a base curve and bridge bump, encouraging a more natural face-form, comfortable fit, and supporting the curvature of your lenses, so you can see the world the way you’re meant to.
