Step inside the world of The Vale London.

This week we hosted our first event in our new home in West Palm Beach with . An intimate soft launch and immersive experience surrounded entirely by The Vale. From walls wrapped in pattern to layered textiles, trims, and furnishings, every room is designed to feel lived in, collected, and deeply personal.

More than a showroom, this house is becoming a place for conversation, creativity, and connection within the design community.

Where it began.

An original woodblock print by Liesl Monath—layered, expressive, and rhythmic. You can see the hand in every mark, the slight irregularities that give the work its depth and soul.

We translated this artwork onto a luminous silver silk, refining the composition while preserving its movement. In Slate, the result feels both grounded and reflective—an interplay of shadow, sheen, and history.

Originally titled Swirl, this design began as a woodblock print created by Liesl Monath in the 1950s. Its looping forms capture her fascination with movement and abstraction, echoing the optimism and curiosity of post-war modernism.

The Vale London reinterpreted the artwork as a mirrored, continuous pattern that feels fluid and contemporary. Printed on a shimmering mica ground with matte 3D digital printing that traces each swirl, Lava Lamp has a tactile presence that shifts beautifully with the light. Available in four colours, it is a playful yet sophisticated nod to mid-century artistry.
