The store lends itself to the casual shopper, those ladies and gents who specialises in individuality. Rekindled is a destination clothing boutique, offering an ever changing range of hand selected pre-loved clothing and a

ccessories from the 1930’s right up to the 1980’s and current contemporary fashion. Dresses, coats, bags, shoes, boots, jewellery, belts, knitwear, shirts, hats, etc. Come and see for yourself. PLEASE NOTE: we are open every other Sunday. Please check prior to Sunday visit.

Thank you to all that have visited this week. Each and every day is so special. We are trading Thursdays to Saturdays at the moment but due to popular demand we are looking to include two Sundays a month. This will be confirmed by the end of February.

Hackney certainly has its collection of interesting characters. One of those was Stanley Johnson, a local resident who lived in the borough all his life. He was a successful drummer, in particular with rock and roll star Gene Vincent, finding success with the hit track ‘Be Bop a Loula’. This fact was something Stanley was extremely proud of. Later life as a pensioner he was happily independent, indeed colourful and certainly unmissable with his own cheerful individual style. Whenever asked how he was on any day, Stanley always cheerfully replied he was fantastic! That he was until he was tragically struck by a vehicle and subsequently passing away.
It really would be great if the community were to get together and support the cause to ensure Stanley gets the kind of send off he deserves. Let’s make it happen. Please.
