SUSTAINABLE XMAS - GIFT AN ECO EXPERIENCE
Chalk and Feather is offering 1:1 Sewing machine lessons, designed for the lucky individual receiving your thoughtful gift. Catering for beginners who would benefit from an introduction to the their (maybe new) machine, returners who need a gentle push, or those adventurous types seeking a challenging project.

Bridal alterations from Chalk and Feather created a perfectly fitting silhouette with bespoke alterations to this Atelier Emelia gown. My client was made to feel confident, comfortable with an elegant finished look that reflected her personality.

My years of experience in hand craft tailoring, design, pattern cutting and theatre costume, a toolbox which allows me to approach a varied range of styles with a creative and practical 'problem solving' manner. By understanding construction techniques, and having worked with all manner of delicate and robust materials, I guide clients towards achieving their desired look. This may be simple alterations like adding bustles, shortening hems or reshaping the bodice. Maybe adding modesty panels, or more dramatic enhancements such as the addition of sleeves or style changes to a neckline. Beads, lace or feathers...anything goes, and the finish and inner workings of the garment are of equal importance.

All my clients receive the highest quality of service as well as an assurance that the experience will be memorable and fun.

Bridal alterations from Chalk and Feather remodelled this stunning House of Mooshki gown with a complete redesign to both the neckline and sleeves as well as a flattering cinching at the waist.
With a combination of tailoring and couture techniques the dress was faithfully altered to a perfect fit and finish to reflect this brides individuality.
Congratulations to my bride who has shown terrific resilience in such challenging times.
