Browsing some of our denim upcycled jackets from last year 🪡 🧵
One of my favourite parts of upcycling, is the treasure hunt to find the garments. I’m a sucker for a charity shop and ever since I was little, I LOVED a rummage. Nana Jeans house was the best for this. A gold mine.

Last year at we nearly sold out the entire rail. Of course with upcycling it’s the gamble of ‘will it fit?’ Each jacket only comes in the one size, so to fall in love and then it fits… usually means you have to buy it.
We loved seeing all our customers trying on our jackets and even more satisfying when someone found something that fit them like a glove.

Plenty more where this came from. UK show us more sun so we can whip out our denim jackets!

There is no better feeling than receiving messages like this. Have you ever had a little thought, then made a little design, then made it into a real life thing, then showed it to the world, then sold it for real life money, then got messages and reviews saying those people who swapped it for the real life money absolutely loved it?!? Experimenting with fabrics, styles, shapes and … passengers 🐕
These are also selection of my guinea pigs (friends, family and loved ones). Everything I make I try to do to the best of my ability and this has been a very satisfying bit of market research. I’ve learnt lots of new skills which is a fabulous feeling.

As we head into the last week of November and by far the busiest bowing time of year! I just wanted to share some of my proud SS commission and moments so far this festive season 🎀

With endless hours of cutting fabric, a hand now shaped into the form of a glue gun, more deliveries than my postman fits in his van, a kettle crying from how many coffees it’s poured, a chihuahua who in equal parts mascots/hinders and not to forget the excitement that never gets old seeing your work up somewhere special 🎀🩷
