Still smiling after our last team building session ✨

Such a fun, relaxed vibe from start to finish — lots of laughs, a bit of friendly competition, and plenty of creativity flowing. And the scrunchies we made? Honestly, they turned out amazing — colourful, unique, and full of personality (just like the team 😉).

What we love most is seeing everyone switch off, try something new, and leave with something they’ve made themselves.

We run all sorts of creative projects during our team building events, and we also host them in our lovely studio in London Bridge 💛

I’m so excited to finally share the results of the costume design & make project for Trinity Laban Conservatoire 🩰

Over the past few months, we’ve created 63 unique costumes from preloved garments, carefully designed to move with the dancers and become part of the performance itself. Seeing them come alive on stage has been magical.

Huge thanks once again to the incredible choreographers and dancers for trusting my vision, to Janine for her stunning weaving ,and to Rosa, one of my former sewing students, whose journey from learning to sew to contributing to this project has been such a joy to witness. 🌿

This project is also a beautiful reminder of the power of skills — with the right techniques, even discarded clothes can be transformed into something extraordinary. If you’d like to learn to sew, upcycle, or create your own pieces, my sewing classes are open! Whether you’re a beginner or want to refine your skills, there’s so much you can do with a little creativity and guidance. ✂️✨

Who knew that by just adding or swapping the ribbing on a garment, you could turn a basic tee into a sporty, stylish piece? 🎾 Suddenly, your old shirt looks like it’s ready for a tennis match! 🏓

In our sewing classes, we teach you how to upgrade your clothes — making them more fashionable, more valuable, and uniquely yours. 💫 Some of these pieces were also intervened with weaving, another playful textile technique we love exploring.

✨Costume design & make for Trinity Laban ✨
It’s been an incredible journey designing and creating 63 unique pieces for this project, all made from preloved garments. A big thank you to all the choreographers and dancers for their energy and collaboration throughout the months—it’s always a joy to co-create with such inspiring movement.

Special thanks to Janine, whose amazing weaving work brings a new dimension to the costumes—this is our second year collaborating and I’m so grateful for the synergy And to Rosa—what a joy it is to see a former sewing student grow and now be part of my creative projects. Your dedication and support mean so much!

Designing for dance is always a special challenge: costumes need to move, breathe, and become part of the story. I love the process of translating movement into wearable forms, especially when done sustainably.
