Grateful to be featured in The Times of India Sunday Special, Lucknow.

From selling my first collection from the boot of my car to building a brand rooted in identity, craft, and resilience, this journey has never just been about fashion. It has been about creating a voice.

I spoke about the early days of recognising a gap for Indo-Western wear, about building a business without capital, and about the belief it takes when others don’t see your vision yet. I spoke about taking Indian craftsmanship like chikankari to international platforms and giving it the dignity and structure it deserves.

Most importantly, I spoke about women in business, our ability to multitask, to bring emotion into enterprise, and to build not just profitable businesses, but meaningful ones.

This recognition, including the honour of the MBE, is not just mine. It belongs to every woman who has had to rebuild, reimagine, and fight for her place.
