Milly Spaven is a British Trained Milliner who studied Fashion Design with Business Studies at Brighton University. She has worked as a designer in the fashion industry for 10 years working in New York, London and Dublin. Her real passion is for creating beautiful unique hats and headpieces. She has therefore taken her own unique creative style, passion and years of fashion industry experience to
set up her own millinery business. Milly Spaven Designs are inspired by vintage imagery from the couture houses particularly during the 40’ s to 60’s as well as the many fantastic exhibitions in London. All designs have a modern twist so today’s hat wearer will feel contemporary. Trimmings are sourced in London and often evolve into the design. The best quality materials are used and manipulated by hand to make the truly unique items. No two products will be exactly the same due to their handmade nature. My aim is to make the wearer feel fantastic and ready to make an impact at that special occasion.
