A recent talk at the V&A Museum highlighted the rich traditions of Uzbek craftsmanship 🧵✨.

Co-founders Charos and Timur Kamalovs of Teplo Store presented the journey of the platform and the artisans who preserve and reimagine these traditions today. From heritage techniques to contemporary design, the discussion explored how craft connects culture, community, and creativity.

Join us for our upcoming event, where we will explore the interconnection between Uzbek craft, culture, and the community dedicated to keeping these traditions alive.

Our co-founders, Charos and Timur Kamalovs, will be speaking on this topic, sharing the story of Teplo Store and our journey since 2018. Through curated markets, large-scale festivals, and our permanent concept store in Tashkent, we have been supporting and promoting local designers and artisans, building a vibrant network of over 200 collaborators — 95% of them women-led businesses.

At Teplo Store, our mission is to redefine how cultural heritage is preserved, reimagined, and shared both locally and globally. This event is another step in continuing that dialogue.

Founded in London by designer Chenchen, this independent fashion brand is dedicated to the art of creative pattern cutting. Each garment is crafted with precision, combining playful uniqueness with timeless elegance in shades of black and white. With an eye for detail, Chenchen designs pieces that are not only refined and durable but also deeply personal — garments that mirror individuality and tell stories.
