Well, blink and you missed it, but we had a light dusting of snow last night.
And, this morning, the snow fairy left brand new hats for these two, in their favourite colours.

The best thing about a Netflix boxset binge is that you end up finishing a LOT of crochet projects. (Because I can’t watch telly empty-handed!)

This was one of five pieces I finished over the Christmas break using a ‘vintage rainbow’ colour scheme.

Haven't made many hats this winter. But I made an exception for this gorgeous fella. The nephew of a good friend needs a special kind of hat.
Here he is, modelling his aviator hat - in Bury FC colours.

Another busy afternoon making some smaller items for my stall at the school summer fayre. Today's brief: hair clips! (Full disclosure: I delegated the job of colour selection to Ava and Grace and I think they did a great job!)

This is a mini sneak preview of something I'm working on for my stall at my kids' school summer fayre. (Because who wants to buy a woolly hat in July?!) These baby sandals are made in cool cotton, sizes 0-6 and 6-12 months in a range of colours.
(Watch this space for more designs over the next couple of weeks...)

I finished this small rainbow blanket last week and took the first set of photos indoors. Then today, while the sun was shining, I took another set of snaps in the sunshine. (Not 100% sure which I prefer!)
The blanket will soon be listed in my Etsy store (etsy.com/shop/opalandplum) and via my website (opalandplum.com)
