If your whole existence revolves around others this is your one stop shop to stop and do things for you.

Rearrange that wardrobe. Redo things over. Invest in your appearance.

Your appearance is your passport in this world, so invest as much time on it as possible.

And before anyone thinks fashion is just about clothes… it’s not.

Confidence is part of fashion too.

The outfit can be beautiful, the jewellery can be perfect, the tailoring can be flawless — but if you don’t believe in yourself, you will never wear the clothes the way they were meant to be worn.

Fashion is how you present yourself to the world, but confidence is what makes people remember you.

Take time for yourself. Learn what makes you feel powerful. Find your style. Take care of your body. Dress for the person you are becoming.

Stop waiting for someone else to notice you.

Notice yourself first.

Do you agree with these or do you want to add others ?

Want to take a closer look at the details? Especially the shoes 👠✨

Schiaparelli Fall 2026 is full of intricate craftsmanship, sculptural silhouettes and surreal touches that deserve more than a quick glance. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest statement.

Which detail caught your eye first?

AMVCA award show fashion let’s talk about it 👀✨
Forget the Met Gala for a second this is where true artistry is shining. African designers are not playing fair 🔥 The creativity, the craftsmanship, the DETAIL every look feels intentional, powerful, and unforgettable.

And the crazy part? I didn’t even catch all the looks there were so many more that deserved their moment. That’s how rich the talent is. It’s bold, it’s beautiful, it’s culture, it’s storytelling… it’s fashion at its finest.

Yeah… they took the win. Period. 🖤

You didn’t invent that outfit your grandma did.

Capri pants weren’t a “new discovery” they were already having their moment in the late 90s and early 2000s as pedal pushers, styled with kitten heels, baby tees, and oversized sunglasses. Fast forward and now they’re back, just rebranded as “capri pants” with cleaner styling and a more minimal aesthetic.

Split toe trainers? Nike Air Rift first dropped in the mid 90s, inspired by barefoot runners and originally seen as futuristic sportswear. Now they’re resurfacing again in the same silhouette, just styled differently and pushed as “avant-garde streetwear.”

And tabi shoes the conversation is even louder. Traditional Japanese tabi footwear dates back centuries, designed for practicality and split toe movement. Now you’ve got modern reinterpretations like Maison Margiela tabi flats same concept, but reframed as luxury fashion and “edgy design” instead of functional wear.

And jorts? They’ve already lived multiple lives. In the 80s, denim cut off shorts were pure DIY rebellion rough, practical, often literally made from old jeans. They came back in the 2000s as oversized, low rise, logo heavy streetwear. Now they’re “editorial” again

So as a generation that proudly thinks they’re inventing something new every other day are you sure you’re creating fashion, or just rediscovering it in a different font?

Fashion doesn’t evolve. It loops.
It just comes back with better branding and higher prices.

Emma Chamberlain just stepped out at the 2026 Met and the internet is already in detective mode 👀✨

From the silhouette to the overall concept, people are saying her look is giving major déjà vu specifically Zendaya at the 2024 Met Gala, wearing the iconic Maison Margiela “garden” dress 🌸

It’s the colour story, the layered detailing, the whole ethereal concept and now people are saying Emma Chamberlain may have taken inspiration and reworked it in her own way.

But now the conversation is getting even messier… 👀
Did people just miss Zendaya this year since she wasn’t at the Met, and use this as a reason not to give Emma her flowers? Or is it fair to say it’s already been done before?

Fashion always circles back, but when it’s done this well, it gets everyone talking.

So what are we saying copied, inspired, or improved? 👀

✨ Met Gala 2026 – final thoughts ✨

I can’t lie a lot of people played it very safe this year. For a theme centred around art, the amount of black and white felt like the easy option instead of something intentional or groundbreaking. This was the moment to stand out and it just didn’t hit the way it should have.

For me, Emma Chamberlain in Mugler still takes it 🥇. She actually became the art a full canvas moment with texture, colour, and detail that made you stop and look twice. That’s what the Met is about.

But overall? Where was the risk… the storytelling… the imagination?

No one really used their body as part of the art no painted illusions, no half body concepts, no surreal transformations. Even hair could’ve been pushed further sculpted, structured, turned into part of the outfit itself. It felt like everyone showed up polished, but not provocative.

We had moments Beyoncé’s return, Katy Perry’s headpiece, Anok Yai serving face and presence but as a whole, it felt more “awards show” than fashion’s biggest night.

So now the real question is Are designers playing it safe?Is brand image holding creativity back?Or has fashion become too focused on being perfect instead of being talked about?

Because fashion should be fun. It should make you question things. It should stay on your mind.

And this year a lot of looks didn’t.

Who actually understood the assignment for you? 👀
