Lower demand for new production reduces environmental pressure across supply chains.

Do you really need 10 separate white t-shirts in your wardrobe (each one takes approximately 2,400 litres of water to make)?

But better quality… make it last longer… then donate.

ELT Global is working with partners around the globe to avoid textiles ending up in landfills.

The government has a circular economy task force to develop proposals to introduce a proper closed-loop system for the UK’s textiles sector.

Email [email protected] for more information. There are solutions already to divert unwanted, damaged textiles away from landfill, but we need to quicken the pace of delivering these.

Clothing doesn’t have an expiry date…only a decision point. ELT Global keeps wearable textiles in circulation, reducing landfill waste and supporting a circular economy. As 1 of only a few collectors in the UK who sort and grade goods, 98% of our goods go for recycling or reuse. We know every endpoint for our international shipments…do you know where your donated goods end up? Contact us at [email protected] to find out more.

The fashion industry is one of the world’s largest polluters, between 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, exceeding emissions from international aviation and shipping combined, with textile waste playing a major role. At ELT Global, we work behind the scenes to ensure clothing is diverted from landfill and managed responsibly through reuse and redistribution. Want to know more? Contact Ian at [email protected]
