My grandma taught me to sew when I was 9.

•l made Barbie clothes from my mum’s old clothes.After the war,she made clothes for women from curtains and bedsheets because that’s all they had.

•She taught me waste is just fabric waiting for purpose.

•I survived homelessness.I know what it means to need something made with care.

•That’s why I only work with deadstock. It’s textile heritage.And I rework it into 1-of-1 pieces so it gets worn, not wasted.

🪡It’s called an overlock. It seals the edges so the fabric doesn’t fray and the jacket lasts years.

Venice doesn’t do fast.

Burano taught me that. I watched lace makers pull 400 years of technique through a single needle. No machines. No shortcuts. Just hands, time, and math you can’t fake.

As a supporter of hand-made, I brought back two things:
An artisanal umbrella lace → now a lamp in my studio. It throws the same shadows their grandmothers saw.
An embroidered cotton laundry bag → because even the functional should be beautiful.

Venice kept teaching:the embroidery in the palazzos, the mosaic patterns in San Marco. All of it said the same thing — detail is a decision.

You can buy speed. You can’t buy this.

Those years wasn’t about “body types.”
It was about people.

It started at the FDC Young Designer Awards — designing to raise funds for Angelman Syndrome 💙

Then we created a catwalk for SEN Girls + their incredible Mums. Joy was the brief. Comfort was non-negotiable.

Now we’re working with to help end homelessness. Because a coat should do more than keep one person warm.

Every piece we made in those years had a purpose.
Every showcase had a cause.

That’s what “statement piece” means to us.

Fashion feeling:👠💄💋 Why we wear related to our emotions? Perché vestiamo in base a come ci vestiamo ? Lo hai mai notato? Sembrano esserci più emozioni che vestiti nel nostro guardaroba .
•Giornata storta? Una felpa morbida, un maglione oversize. I vestiti possono essere come una coperta di sicurezza.

•Ti senti giù di morale? Hai voglia di colori vivaci, tessuti morbidi o un “outfit di potere” per risollevare il tuo umore.

•Un incontro importante o una rottura sentimentale? Un completo ,una giacca o gilet diventa un’armatura emotiva. Ti stai letteralmente “vestendo per la battaglia”.

Ecco perché “Statement pieces ” non significa “eclatante ogni giorno”. Il minimalismo ti offre una base di calma, mentre i capi di carattere ti danno la giusta enfasi emotiva.
