1. Do not merely listen to the word
Listening includes:
• Hearing sermons
• Reading the Bible
• Attending church
• Knowing Scriptures by memory

All of these are good, but they are not the goal.

2. Hearing without obedience is self-deception. Why? Because it creates a false sense of spirituality:
• “I know the Word, so I’m fine”
• “I hear God every Sunday, so I must be growing”

But knowledge without action doesn’t transform the heart.

3. You must Do what it says
This is the heart of the verse.
God’s Word is meant to be:
• Lived, not just learned
• Practiced, not just preached
• Obeyed, not just admired

We must live a life of active faith, faith that shows up in how we:
• Speak
• Forgive
• Love
• Walk in holiness
• Trust God in real life decisions

Know that true Christianity is visible. A genuine relationship with God will always produce obedience, not perfection, but intention!!!
