The collective absolutely love making the most of their evenings and weekends by trying new experiences together, collaborating on projects etc.

🥞✨ TMC IRL MEETUP # 7! ✨🥞

We’re bringing it back to one of our favourites, Bottomless Pancakes at Bill’s!

Because clearly… one visit for this £5 unlimited rounds of pancakes was never going to be enough especially in this economy! 😂

For our 7th TMC IRL Meetup, the ladies came together for another evening of good food, flowing pancakes, plenty of laughs and most importantly, genuine connection. ✨

7 monthly meetups in and it’s so lovely seeing our community continue to grow with familiar faces, new faces and new friendships being made each time. 🫶🏾

Here’s to more meetups, more memories and more TMC moments! 🥂🤎

themelafemmecollective Friday night done the TMC way!
We swapped the usual dinner plans for an evening exploring London Zoo Evening, walking, laughing, catching up and making memories together. From seeing incredible animals after hours to enjoying the summer atmosphere, it was the perfect reminder that the best part of every TMC event is the amazing women who come along.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such great energy and see you at the next event.

🎭✨ TMC Theatre Night ✨🎭

It was an absolute pleasure to watch The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind in Soho Place Theatre (the AC was ACing in this heat 🙏🏾)! It’s such an inspiring, thought‑provoking story about resilience and hope. Based on the true story of William Kamkwamba, the play follows a young boy in Malawi who builds a windmill to save his village from famine, highlighting themes of innovation, determination and the power of education.

We loved it so much, we’re going back to watch it again before it closes on 18th July!

The MelaFemme Collective had an amazing time at the Afro Hair & Beauty Show at the Business Design Centre in Islington on Monday!

A hot 🥵 yet beautiful day filled with Black excellence, inspiring brands, networking, empowerment and all things beauty, fashion & community. We loved connecting with so many incredible women, supporting Black-owned businesses, and soaking up the vibes 🫶🏾

WHAT A NIGHT!

Our very first The MelaFemme Collective Speed Friending in the City was officially a success 💛

From nervous introductions to genuine laughter, deep conversations and beautiful new connections… the energy in the room was truly something special.

Seeing Black women come together, step outside of their comfort zones and intentionally build community is exactly why The MelaFemme Collective was created.

New friendships were formed.
Numbers were exchanged.
Perfect Match envelopes were opened 👀💌
Everyone was extremely comfortable with one another by the end of the event!
Memories were definitely made 🤗

To every single woman who attended, thank you for bringing your warmth, openness and beautiful energy into the room.

And to everyone who missed out this time… don’t worry 😉
This is only the beginning…cohort no. 2 pending…
