It’s National Volunteers Week 🤗

We wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of our fantastic volunteers! Whether you’ve given up a day, an afternoon, or an hour of your time to support us - thank you. You’re helping us keep textiles out of landfill, and make sustainable clothing choices accessible.

As a new social enterprise, volunteers are invaluable to our mission. The feet on the ground that keep the cogs spinning, and our doors open, whilst we work behind the scenes. With the help of volunteers last month, we were able to…

FREE sewing workshop at 🪡

We’ve teamed up with Louise to bring you a fantastic free event this June. Join us in Lowestoft on Wednesday 10 June and learn how to make your own bag charm from recycled materials.

The workshop runs for 2 hours and uses donated fabrics from the Swap Shop, along with Louise’s expert guidance to create a beautiful handmade piece.

No previous experience required.

📣 Important update! 📣

Now that we have your attention, we’d like to thank you for the support we have received so far! The Swap Shop has only been open a few short months and we’ve already received some lovely feedback and re-homed hundreds of items, saving approx 100kg of textiles from landfill.

Thank you 👏🏻 We’re excited to share more updates on the impact of the project, but first we’re taking our first little break since opening…

➡️ We’ll be CLOSED from May 17 - 27!

Partly to celebrate my 30th birthday and to support our neighbour and good friend .alba at The Suffolk Show! 🪴 She’s worked incredibly hard to make it happen, and we can’t wait to celebrate her achievement.

Our last opening day will be today & tomorrow (Saturday 16th May) from 10 - 3, so if you need any last minute clothing or want to make donations - nows your chance!
