A little update from me… 🥰

My 2026 order book is now closed. 🧸❤️ I honestly can’t believe how quickly this year has filled up, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their special pieces and memories.

I’m now taking orders for 2027 🧵✨

There’ll be a little less availability than usual next year, as I’ve recently started a Foundation Degree in Counselling, so I’m trying to balance studying alongside The Gathered Seam and make sure I’m giving myself enough time for both.

It’s an exciting new chapter for me, but The Gathered Seam is definitely not going anywhere! ❤️ I’ll just be working a little differently and taking on a smaller number of orders so I can still give each one the time and care it deserves.

A little something different from The Gathered Seam today… 🏃‍♀️💕

Yesterday I ran my first ever 10K race! 🥹

Something I never imagined I’d be doing when I was sitting behind my sewing machine a few years ago or even 5 months ago!

It took a lot of patience, consistency and reminding myself that progress doesn’t happen overnight — much like running a small business.

There were definitely moments where I wondered if I could keep going, but I made it to the finish line in 1hr 3 mins. 🥹🏅

It’s been lovely to realise that the same determination I put into my sewing and my business can show up in other parts of my life too.

A couple of weeks late sharing these, but I couldn't let our trip to Chamonix pass by without posting a few memories. 🏔️🤍

Taking a little time away with my family was exactly what we all needed. It gave us the chance to slow down, make special memories together and return home feeling refreshed.

One of the biggest highlights was that myself, Robert and Henry took the leap and went paragliding! 🪂 Safe to say we all landed with huge smiles on our faces. Turns out voluntarily running off a mountain is actually quite fun! 😂 Definitely one to tick off the bucket list.

Chamonix was especially meaningful for me, bringing back precious memories of visiting there with my dad when I was younger. Returning all these years later was emotional at times, but I'm so grateful to have shared such a special place with my own family. ❤️

Summer always feels a little slower here as I juggle work with the school holidays, but please rest assured I'm still working away through your orders in between the summer chaos. If you've sent me a message, thank you for your patience. I may take a little longer to reply at times, but I'll always get back to you as soon as I can. 🤍

Following on from the rugby memory blanket, this rugby shirt cushion was another special keepsake created to celebrate years spent on the pitch.

Following on from the two Kip keepsake dogs, these matching patchwork cushions brought together even more of Granny and Granda's precious clothing. 🤍

Each square was carefully chosen to preserve the colours, textures and memories held within every garment. Finished with the same care and attention to detail, they're a comforting reminder of two very special people.

A very special graduation memory bear, created from a nursing tunic to celebrate years of dedication, hard work and achievement. 🎓🤍

Finished with personalised embroidery of their name and course, and topped off with the cutest little graduation cap, this bear is a keepsake to remember such an important milestone.

A wonderful way to celebrate the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. Congratulations! 💙🧸

A beautiful patchwork memory cushion, lovingly created from a collection of a baby girl's clothing and backed with the softest cuddle fleece.
