My story started when my Dad brought a half drowned lurcher pup home having waded into a shallow 'pond' in a London park to find out why there was a bin bag moving in the middle of it! Sadly out of the 12 pups inside, Charlotte (as she became) was the only survivor. A lifetime of rescuing and taking in waifs and strays and showing dogs ensued and I am now proud to say that I am, in my own way, giv
ing help to the dogs that are in need of a second chance. Trained in fashion design and a Fine Artist to boot, I am also a partner in my husbands sock business...so it seemed natural to set up something that combined all my efforts and gave back! Woofsox was set up to support dog welfare charities that are struggling post Covid lockdown. We want to give as many dogs as possible a second chance to find health and happiness through successful rehoming and rescue programmes run by dog welfare charities. We also want all dog lovers to be able to express the love for their pet by wearing our socks, all with the knowledge that you are helping another with every footstep that you take! To donate £1000 a year to dog welfare through sock sales! Our dream? To have every show owner at Crufts wearing a pair of our socks! Well.....a girls got to dream!
