It is with great regret that we are closing Jah Sole Shoe Repairs Machynlleth. Despite having lots of work we have had to close due to health reasons.

If you have any Shoes/bags with us please come to collect them at the workshop by END OF FEBRUARY if at all possible, if we are not there you can call us on 01654702526 and we can arrange to meet you.

We are so grateful for our customers support this far and we know its a challenge to find good skilled shoe repair shops locally, ..
in this climate we must repair what we can so millions of shoes don't go to landfill but also buy consciously and purchase well made items which are repairable so we can reduce waste.

Hi everybody, Jah Sole Shoe Repairs has been going through changes i.e. a new look to the workshop, and a total overhaul of the set up to be able to take on a young apprentice. Also, rearrange the space to accommodate more clients as it seems there is a lot of interest and need in the craft of cobbling. In the meantime I've been very busy repairing shoes and leather goods from near and far.

Lot's of work happening at Jah Sole Shoe Repairs ,it's been a very challenging time what with lock down restrictions and the passing of our mentor and friend Alan James Raddon ...The support and appreciation from all of my customers makes my work a complete pleasure, also,providing a service which is apparently so needed gives me great satisfaction. So I am doing my best to get on track with outstanding repairs. Suppliers a back open which means I can get the materials I need to complete work. Hi, it's been pretty busy here at Jah Sole Shoe Repairs in Machynlleth.
Thank you to all of my customers for your patience and support.
The waiting list is longer than usual at the moment due to a marked increase in the number of people wanting their footwear and leather goods repaired.
It's very encouraging to see that lots of people are aware of the need to not be a throw away society and take care of the things we have. I'm trying to do my small part to maintain that tradition... Jah Sole 👣

Jah Sole Shoe Repairs is open for business again!!!
Thank you for your patience everyone.. I've been busy taking care of pre lock down repairs and working out my new method for providing my service.
All repairs that come in, should be brought in a bag and then I put them in a waiting area to be worked on after 3 days when it is safe to handle them.
My opening times are :
Mon-thurs 9.30-6.00
Sat 10.00-5.30

I would appreciate if masks were worn in the workshop, but if you really don't have one you won't be turned away..

I would just like to say to all of my customers due to the international situation we're all facing, I have decided to close shop for the moment. I have a few pairs that are finished so feel free to contact me to arrange what you would like to do, the same goes for any unfinished shoes.... Please take good care of yourselfs and let's be responsible and strong, for us all. We have some really uncertain times ahead and it feels right to just stop, and think...
