What's been happeing this week at PT Designs. Well I took a tumble form the back doorstep and twisted my knee. Thankfully nothing serious. I will just be hobbling around for a bit.

I am busy moving my website to a different provider. Still a work in progress and both sites are running together. Let me know what you think of the new site. Link is in the first comment 🙂

Hello, I don’t think I’ve done this before, so it’s about time I introduce myself properly.

I’m Tanya, the face behind Purple Turquoise Designs. I’m based in Northern Ireland, and I spend my free time on evenings and weekends designing custom mugs, tees, and totes. Most of my design work is done at the kitchen table, and I use a UK-based Print on Demand company to print and ship all my designs.

Having a full-time job means life is busy, but getting creative is a good way to unwind and make things that bring a little joy to your day—and maybe a little extra pocket money to buy the yarn for my crochet 😂

When I’m not designing new products, you can usually find me out in the garden trying to keep the slugs away from my tomatoes and peppers in the spring and summer. Come autumn and winter, you will find me freezing on the side of the rugby pitch.

Ever wondered how your favorite Purple Turquoise Designs pieces come to life? 🎨✨

Because I want to offer you a huge variety of unique designs without letting anything go to waste, I do things a little differently! I don’t hold any physical stock. Instead, I partner with a fantastic UK-based Print On Demand company called Ink Threadable.

Here is exactly how ordering from me works, from my screen to your doorstep:

Step 1: You browse & buy

Step 2: Custom printing
Once your order is placed, it is sent straight to Ink Threadable to get queued up for production! They custom-print your chosen design specifically for you. Because everything is made to order, please allow 3–5 working days for production and dispatch.

Step 3: On its way to you!
Once shipped, standard delivery takes about 2–5 working days to arrive at your door.

Total turnaround time: Please allow around 5–10 working days from the moment you order to the moment your package arrives.

A Quick Note on Returns:
Because every item is custom-printed just for you, we cannot accept returns for incorrect sizing or change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged or faulty, please message me right away with a photo so I can get a replacement sorted!

Morning routines are pretty sacred, aren't they?

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how the little things can completely shift our mindset for the day ahead. For me, it starts the moment I pick out my morning mug. There is just something about a bright splash of colour and a gentle reminder to "Make Today Amazing" that makes that first sip of coffee taste even better. Even better if I can relax in the garden while sipping

My favourite part of designing this line was choosing the contrast colours—you can pick the inner lining and handle colour to match your own vibe (the turquoise and purple are my favourites - no surprise there lol!
