Dear instagram, a rather charming Robin has decided to join our warehouse team. He pops in as soon as we open the doors in the morning and hangs around for the rest of the day. As sweet as this is he occasionally scare the bejeepers out of me and I’m worried he will get hurt or trapped in the warehouse overnight. Does anyone know of a safe and humane way to encourage him to move on?

⚠️ Scam Alert – Quilting & Sewing Community ⚠️

Hello lovely quilters & sewists! Just a quick note to help keep our community safe. We’ve recently been targeted with a scam aimed at groups and shops, involving emails offering a “free Bernina 770 QE sewing machine,” supposedly donated in memory of a loved one.

It seems the scam is targeted to quilting and sewing groups with a request to distribute to their mailing list. The sender asks recipients to pay upfront shipping costs.

Sadly, this is a known scam designed to take advantage of our goodwill and kindness. Please be cautious and do not respond or send any payment.

If you have received this email:
- 🚫 Do not engage with the scammer, either with a reply or request for more information.
- 📨 Report the Incident: Forward the emails to [email protected], the UK’s official phishing reporting service.​
- 📢 Inform Your Community: Share this warning with local quilting or sewing groups as well as your friends and contacts to raise awareness.
- 👀 Monitor Financial Accounts: If you received this email and shared any personal or financial information, keep a close eye on your accounts for suspicious activity.

Please share this with fellow quilters and sewing groups to help everyone stay safe!
