Since 2007, the Dhaaga – After school sewing club has been dedicated to teaching children the valuable skill of sewing in a fun, creative, and educational environment.

Dhaaga is excited to offer personalized summer holiday sewing sessions right in the comfort of your home. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, our sessions are designed to inspire creativity, make memories and unwind from regular life!

Looking for a fun activity for the kids in the summer holidays? Want to unleash your creativity after a stressful day? Looking to bring the whole family together and learn a new skill? Keen to finally learn how to use that sewing machine you have lying around?
We bring all the materials and a sewing machine if you do not have one, so all you need to do is enjoy the experience.
Perfect for kids, parents, grandparents and groups of friends, these sessions are a unique way to learn something different together this summer.

Looking for a fun and creative summer holiday activity for children aged 5-12
Dhaaga, Berkshires largest after school sewing club is running summer sewing workshops in August.

Our three hour sewing workshops will guide your child to make a personal handmade item to take home.

Workshops are small, friendly class sizes and lots of fun. No experience necessary. All school children are welcome, children voucher accepted.

The children at Dhaaga Sewing club made fabulous Tea cosy and a wall hanger for Mother’s Day this year. The mums sent over some of photos and it was amazing to see their reactions.
I am sure the mums will treasure these lovely memories❤️

Dhaaga sewing club, Maidenhead
I run after school sewing club in the infant and primary schools in and around maidenhead for last 14 years. Children learn hand sewing techniques with lots of fun activities.
Dhaaga is happy to announce the summer holidays sewing camp in Aug 2022 for children in school year 3 to year 7.

Brilliant news - The queen has seen our tapestry and has conveyed her thanks to everyone involved in this project. Now they are looking for the best place to showcase our tapestry! How exciting🥰

We have presented Tapestry to Sir James and its on the way to the queen. He mentioned that this could be the biggest gift her majesty the queen would possibly receive for platinum jubilee. We have all made it with love and hope she likes it.

Hello parents! With schools opening this week and no guidance yet released about mask regulations within the school, I wanted to post about the masks that I am still making.

The masks are double layered 100% cotton, elastic fastening and fully washable. I have around a whole range of fabrics to choose from and can tailor make the size of the mask for your requirements, including children’s masks.
