Coming up next weekend, 23rd & 24th April is the Detling Antique & Collectors Fair, followed by Love Fairs Brighton Racecourse Event on Sunday 1st May.
We look forward to being at both, and that it will be a good turnout of both Dealers and Visitors.

Showing here is a small selection of Corgi and Dinky Toys - still firm favourites amongst Collectors old and new.

Getting ready for the Heritage Transport Show and South East Bus Festival next Saturday 2nd April at Detling Showground. Buses, Cars, Tractors and other modes of Transport in abundance, along with Trade Stands, Catering outlets, and other transport miscellany.

We will be there with vintage toys, automobilia and enamel signs and memorabilia.

The following day, Sunday 3rd, we will be with similar items at Lingfield Antiques Fair at the Racecourse, Surrey. So a full weekend of Trading to look forward to.

Shown here is a rare and unusual GeeBee Toys wooden Coach Station - the only one we've ever seen. All complete and in good order, it has Coaches by Minic, Mettoy and Wells waiting to depart on it, along with figures by Britains, or similar.

Whilst Confined to Barracks during today's disruptive weather conditions we've been sorting a few things out in readiness for Sandown Park Toy Fair on Saturday 26th February.
Showing are a Triang Cement Mixer, Minic clockwork van, Dinky Toys lawnmower, vintage monkey and fox terrier toys.
We will have these and similar items at Sandown, so hope for an interesting lively day there.
The weekend after that is Coolings Garden Centre, Knockholt 2 day weekend Fair, where we will be again with Collectables and Toys.

A new Fair for both Traders and Buyers of Antiques and Collectables this Sunday, 6th February, at Woking Leisure Centre, Surrey. Run by Grandma's Attic, its open from 10am - 4pm (early entry 9am), full details on the web.
We are looking forward to being there, and also at Sandown Park Toy Fair a fortnight later on Saturday 19th.
As usual we will have a varied selection of items for purchase from the vintage toy world, and look forward to seeing you at one of them.

On the starting grid for Love Fairs new website for selling Antique and Collectable items. This goes live tomorrow, 17th January, and is largely Dealers who attend their Fairs at Lingfield and Brighton Racecourses offering individual pieces for sale.
All the details are explained on the site - www.eatsleepantiques.com - along with all current available items. The Vintage Toy Garage is pleased to be a part of this new venture, and we look forward to any enquiries.

All fairs are operating under current Covid guidelines, if there are any changes to the above venue events we will post that here.

We're steaming off to the Lingfield Antiques & Collectors Fair this Sunday. Plenty of varied Dealers will be there, and Refreshments available.
Organised by Love Fairs, this one at Lingfield Racecourse alternates with their Fair at Brighton Racecourse.
Plenty of unusual items to buy for Christmas, or just to add to your own collecting interest, so do come along and see us all.

These two cuties have recently joined us, and have a lot of nostalgia appeal. Designed and made by Norah Wellings, who was also behind many similar character dolls for Chad Valley, they are around 80years old, but wearing very well!
We will be taking them to the Sandown Park Toy Fair on Saturday, though they may be a reluctant offer for sale, we'll see.
We look forward to being at Sandown, which is great to have back, and an ongoing sign of events resuming normal service.

All ready to go this weekend at the Detling Antique & Collectors Fair. Hoping the weather doesn't turn out to be too bad.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and Sunday, and to a lively event.

Tomorrow, Sunday 24th, we will be at Love Fairs Brighton Racecourse Antiques and Collectors Fair. The first of their events to be held back at this venue for many months.

We look forward to a bustling day of trading, and welcoming back those visitors we haven't seen for so long.
