We knew Connie would look stunning on her special day, and it was such a pleasure to help perfect her bridal look 🤍

Connie's beautiful gown is from , and we had the pleasure of carrying out her fittings and alterations to ensure it fit exactly as she envisioned.

Here's everything we did to create her perfect fit:

✨ Took in the bodice
✨ Added darts at the back of the dress
✨ Reshaped the neckline and added poppers for a flawless fit
✨ Created an American bustle loop to the waist
✨ Stitched the petticoat into the waist
✨ Supplied a n**e waist stay
✨ Added appliqué to the neckline
✨ Added ribbons for the waist stay
✨ Sewed in bra cups flat
✨ Supplied Boombas

We also carried out a few delicate repairs:

✨ Repaired the hook and eye at the top of the zip
✨ Repaired a small tear
✨ Restored the beading on the bodice

Watch this satisfying time-lapse of Nicola carefully boxing a bride's dress and veil, ready for collection! ✨

The second half of this video may have been forgotten (we're only human! 😅), but what you don't see is Nicola carefully adding extra tissue paper to protect the veil, folding the garment bag and hanger neatly on top, and finally closing the box before tying it with ribbon, ready for its journey home.

A huge congratulations to our lovely bride, Phillipa, on her magical wedding day!🤍

We had the pleasure of carrying out her dress alterations and helping her achieve the perfect fit for her special day.
A special mention to her amazing photographer, , and the stunning venue, 📸

Phillipa found her dream dress at , one of our wonderful affiliate stores, and we were delighted to complete the alterations to ensure it fit like a dream.

Here’s what we did:

✨ Hem lift
✨ Took in the dress for a perfect fit
✨ Added bra cups
✨ Added poppers to secure the cape
✨ Created a cuff from the hem and added buttons
✨ Added a split to the dress and sewed in illusion tulle

Aurin chose her dream dress from .brides and we had the pleasure of doing her alterations. Here is everything we did:

✨ Hem lift
✨ Shoulder lift
✨ 3–5 point bustle loops to waist
✨ Repaired a hole at the back

As well as these alterations, we also altered the beautiful sleeves by:

✨ Adding silicone elastic over the shoulders
✨ Trimming the sides
✨ Adding appliqué detailing
✨ Bustling the underlay for free movement

These alterations added that extra special touch and completed the look beautifully!
