An epic final race at Fort William to finish the racing season, with typically Scottish weather conditions and a wind delay shutting the chairlift until 2pm on Saturday during practise. Thankfully the weather cleared for Sunday and there was some great racing!
In Expert Category, it was a standout performance from who stormed to an insane 21.8 second win in category, with a time which would have put him 3rd in Elite! followed up with a solid 10th place to claim some more valuable points for the team. Unfortunately had a practise crash which needed a few stitches and would have to sit out the race.
In Senior category, once again took the class win, but only by a very tight 3 hundredths of a second, with a time that would have landed him 2nd in Expert behind Alex. An incredible season with 4 class wins from 5 races!
In Junior open, went into this final round in 2nd in overall points. Unfortunately it wasn't to be, with a crash putting an end to his seeding run. He dropped first in finals but a broken chain and then the required pit-stop to un-seize the bike meant he would have to cruise down, and finish the series in 3rd overall.
And with that - the race season is over! Congratulations to Alexander Pervan and Harry Linton on their National Titles! Jack Jenkins should be incredibly proud of 3rd overall in a very stacked Junior Open category. Excellent performances too for the rest of the Context Ridewear Team throughout the season.
