Last grid post for a little bit while I take a much needed break. This year has been quite the year so I’m off to drink all the fizz, eat all the pasta and soak up all the rays 🇮🇹

When your client looks like an edgy Disney princess it would be a shame not to share her to the grid 😍
PLUS she has heterochromia in one eye. When I get a client with this I feel like I’ve won the lottery (and am always super jealous) 🙌🏼

In all my sessions we don’t just talk ‘seasons’, we discuss hair colour, what your future hair colour might be, what your natural hair colour and undertone is and how it will affect your warmth, depth and contrast. Hair is so so important but it’s the one aspect of your appearance than can be easily changed and can then cause confusion for the client.

There’s so much more to my Colour Analysis sessions than just knowing your season. We discuss the finest details so you know exactly what make up to be using, hair dye to opt for, where to shop, what eyeshadow suits your natural lid, what lipstick is your best neutral and so so much more 💋

This months lookbook helps navigate what is quite possibly the trickiest time of the year to shop. It’s hot outside yet for some (still unknown reason and I was a buyer for nearly 20 years), Winter products start to land in the shops - think chunky jumpers, hooded parkas, leather bikers, chunky boots... and yet outside it’s 34 degrees and rising. Then in the next section of the store you have a plethora of rails and rails of sale stock, that you think you need but actually it’s because it’s 70% off. And it’s often highly discounted for numerous reasons; poor fit, bad quality, off colour and so much more.

So I’ve gone through the Summer stock with a fine toothcomb to ensure this is a ‘buy now wear now’ lookbook.

I need to let you all know though that despite it being a notoriously hard season to shop in, it’s my absolute FAVE. I find this season so easy to dress for - a simple dress or jumpsuit. pair of sandals and you’re out the door. No layering to contend with or worrying if your coat will spoil your outfit. Simple and quick - the dream!

🌟 MONTHLY LOOKBOOK TIME ⭐️

This months lookbook has a little added extra just for you. Inspired by this months heatwave I’ve added in an extra section to include swimwear and holiday accessories. If we’re lucky enough we may be thinking ahead for any Summer holidays planned; or if May was anything to go by a little Costa-Del-Back-Garden sunshine ☀️

❓❓❓A common concern people have before a Colour Analysis is: “What if I don’t like my colours?” ❓❓❓

The truth is, colour analysis with me isn’t about limiting you—it’s about discovering what naturally enhances you.
I have a very personalised approach to each client and no two palettes are exactly the same.

I’ll establish whether your undertones are warm, cool or neutral, if you are high or low contrast, and whether softer, lighter, brighter, or deeper shades blend beautifully with your natural tones. With so many options, it’s very unlikely you won’t find shades you truly love. There’s a beautiful palette for everyone—I promise 🤞🏼

Through the process, you’ll learn which colours suit you with regards to makeup, what hair shades harmonise with your natural tones, the jewellery that flatters you most, and so much more. 🙌🏼

And here’s the secret—I don’t always stick to my “best” colours either. I borrow from other palettes, and yes, you’ll still see me wearing black. What matters is learning how to adapt colours to work for you—that’s what makes colour analysis with me so personal 🫶🏼
