ITCHYCOO PARK [1/1]

One of one design, hand dyed substrate with hand painted illustration, logo & lettering.

The illustration is coincidentally based on the song Itchycoo Park by Small Faces.

I’d actually already began the drawing and about three quarters of the way through when the song came on, hearing the lyrics and realising the narrative of the song was basically an account of someone going to a park or being in nature, trippying ballzzz and shedding wee tear in awe, purely because “it’s all too beautiful” - I then took a step back, looked at my drawing and realised I was unknowingly portraying the narrative of the song in my illustration.
1. He’s in nature
2. Spiral Eyes = Trippen
3. Single tear of joy
I love it when stuff like that happens so I commemorated the coincidence by adding the main lyrics on the back.

If you haven’t heard the tune, go get it and may it brighten and inspire your day.
