Today I sent off one of my customers to his first black tie do. He's been studying YouTube to learn how to tie his tie and he'll be sporting my husbands cummerbund. Well, I can't see us tripping the light fantastic in the near future.
I didn't have time to make the suit as he had little notice so I doctored an off the peg and must admit he looked gorgeous. Have a great night Manuel, you'll knock spots off the competition.
On a serious note, if you think you are going to need a dress suit in the future sooner is better than later.

Today I saw a man wearing a three piece suit and a flat cap, riding a penny farthing. Unfortunately I couldn't get a photo . Such style should be applauded. Well done Sir.

Managed to source beautiful Donegal Tweed for a customer this week, so that's one happy customer and a lovely half hour with the incoming Captain for Buxton & High Peak Golf Club and his wife, to order his new blazer.
Two more weddings planned for April with 3 piece suits ordered.
It seems like spring is in the air finally as I was greeted by this miniature iris this morning.

And so it has started. Met a lovely new customer for a suit and a jacket this morning. Got on like a house on fire.
Giving advice, and dare I say expertise, to a young woman launching a designer range on Friday, wedding suit at weekend and velvet jacket for another wedding too. Unfortunately I was asked for a wedding suit by early February, this morning, sadly not enough time to source fabric, measure, fit and possibly complete any alterations in the time frame
I really hate letting people down, if you need something specific for a particular occasion better earlier than later I'll do my utmost to help but sometimes it's not possible 😔
