You don’t notice how much something affects you… until you stop feeling like yourself.
A lot of glasses wearers quietly carry this feeling for years. They assume:
“I’m just not a glasses person.”
“My face doesn’t suit them.”
“I look better without them.”
So they tolerate frames instead of enjoying them.
But imagine wearing something every single day that subtly makes you feel less confident, less attractive, or less you. Over time, you stop questioning the frames and start questioning yourself.
That’s the part nobody talks about.
Because most people were never rejecting glasses — they were rejecting a version of themselves they didn’t recognize.
And those are two very different things.
Did you ever think “I hate glasses”… when what you actually meant was something else? 👇
