It’s official. After much discussion we are cancelling this years Village Kidz Fest. We couldn’t put on the day we originally had planned for you all. Please email us with refund requests and we will work through these.

After serious consideration The Village Kidz Fest team have made the difficult decision to postpone today's event. This was predominantly an outside event, the field is sodden affecting the Tots area, potential wind speed affecting stalls and castles, Norovirus striking down one of main acts. Unfortunately we do not have the inside space to relocate everyone.

THE Brantham Skatepark event IS STILL GOING AHEAD ON SITE 2 OF THE FEST but please keep an eye on their page for updates.

A NEW DATE WILL BE RELEASED AS SOON AS THE TEAM CAN ARRANGE!

THREE DAYS TO GO 🥳

3 days to go until our first ever The Village Kidz Fest at the Brantham Leisure Centre!

There will be much to do and see as we have stalls, catering, TOTS@BLC area, Stomping Ground Theatre Workshop (booking seperate on our website), Brantham Skatepark supported by Brantham Parish Council, Princesses meet and greet, Candy Floss with Kflossandpop, live music with EBiT, choirs, Kieran's Discos, outside bar and kitchen by Brantham Leisure Centre, traditional games such as hook the duck and coconut shy, delicious treats from Amy Anne's Cakes, inflatables plus so much more!

Bring your blankets and chairs to set up base on the field and enjoy a family day out.

OMG!

1 week to go until the !

The day is running from 10am -6pm.

There will be live music, outside catering, childrens entertainment, candy floss, inflatables, disco, Princess meet and greet, cake, tots and toddler area, skateboard park, theatre workshops plus so much more fun throughout the day. We are also adding more to the day every week!

Please remember that any Brantham Brantham Skatepark and Stomping Ground Theatre Workshop session ticket must be accompanied by a valid Kidz Fest ticket.

A special thanks from our Centre Manager, Louise Madley.

“Thank you to everyone that came to support our very first Armed Forces Day. I’m delighted to say that this will be the first of many as we intend to host this annually”.

We asked Louise, what does it take to host an event like The Armed Forces Day?. “Well, a lot of hard graft, before, during and after! However, it’s more than that. It’s a collective effort of people giving up their time for the greater good. Our solid team of staff work tirelessly throughout both setting up, in the kitchen, behind the bar and during the aftermath!!!. I’m so grateful to have met Sharon and Jamie from the North Essex Veterans Group too. It has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Next we have the Village Kidz Fest at the Leisure Centre! It’s all go and our fabulous facility gets to bring the community together once more!”.

Brantham Skatepark is going LIVE at site two of the VILLAGE KIDZ FEST!

One of the most important things I'm wanting to gain from the skatepark event on Saturday 6th is loads of feedback from you guys... Kids, parents, teenagers, adults.. Whoever rocks up I want your imput.. Whatever it maybe (positive is obviously preferable 🤣) so going forward with this project I can use it all to raise funds & support so I can get it built sooner rather than later! Don't worry.. I won't be putting you completely on the spot, there's also an online survey with QR code so you can go away & have a think.. For the kids I've hopefully made it as fun as possible for them..
