Frippery comes from the Old French word 'freperie'- an indulgence, adornment, bauble, fandangle, finery, fluff, frivolity, trifle and trinket. Started six years ago by friends Clare and Kim, we offer an ever-changing range of products, for you and your home, both online and in our

store in the heart of Colchester. Opened in May 2008 we have recently doubled our retail space to accommodate new product lines and our growing Vintage range. Our website offers a small glimpse of our continually changing stock; you'll find a whole lot more in our store, including firm favourites: Bibi Jewellery, Annick Goutal Perfume, Darling Clothing, Fit Flops and Lis Dahl homewares. Our passion for Vintage means there will always be plenty of unique one-off items from clothing to delightful homewares and furniture for you to see. We also offer a popular Vintage hire service for any special occasion. We want our customers to feel fabulous and strive to offer the best personal service we can.
