Inspired by my Great Nan to sew both by hand and with a machine I have recently started making things to share with friends and family - and now I want to share them with you! I would love to make bespoke keepsakes to order, as well as recreate something I have already made which has caught your eye!

It probably looks like I’m not making anything at the moment… but I am! 😂

I’ve been wanting a chalk bag for climbing for ages, but after looking at them all, I couldn’t find one I really loved — and some of them are *ridiculously* expensive!

So, naturally, I decided to make my own. 😁

I’ve taken little pieces from various old clothes, keepsakes and bits that mean something to me and turned them into a **keepsake chalk bag** that I can actually use.

It has a wide magnetic fastening at the top, so it’s easy to open with two hands while I’m climbing, and then folds down securely when I’m finished to help stop me decorating the inside of the van with chalk! 😂

There’s a clear pocket for my phone, a little existing pocket that’s perfect for my balm, and a zipped pocket for all the other bits and bobs I inevitably end up carrying.

I’ve also added loops for hanging my climbing brushes and grip trainers.

It’s definitely got a bit of a *Button Tin* homemade look about it — which I love. ❤️

Now I just need to see how well it stands up to actually being used… because there’s a big difference between *making something* and *making something that survives me*! 😂
