As sewing is still used for some projects, my page name remains the same.

As well as making a honeymoon journal, I also made a honeymoon photo album. The newlyweds can add their favourite photos from their special trip. I used different papers, but still within the wedding colour scheme.

I decided to do something slightly different for the happy couple....we tend to buy a gift/attend the wedding, and yes, it's all about the big day. But for the couple, there's often a honeymoon, and that's also always over so quickly, but with fewer physical reminders. I wanted the couple to remember their honeymoon and have something physical to look back on, just as they'll have with a wedding photo album and wedding video. Wishing the new Mr & Mrs all the happiness in the world ❤️❤️

All the excitement of the big day, and then......honeymoon! And what better way to remember your honeymoon than with a honeymoon journal!

Plenty of space to record those precious memories, and a few little tucks and pockets to store items gathered during the honeymoon, like tickets, receipts, a postcard etc. And all matching with the wedding colour scheme ❤️

So far, there has been a little bit of hand-sewing, and nothing much more, except plotting and planning 😉

Here's a sneaky peek, with the final reveal due in a couple of weeks 😊 Sadly, I did not create the image of the cutest little kitty cat, but it does feature in this current project 😁

I can now share the secret project I was working on. This is Zuse, who sadly slipped over rainbow bridge a few weeks ago.
I was a bit naughty and said I couldn't get a pattern of a Rottweiler. What I was really doing, was creating a bespoke pattern from a photo of Zuse (which a stole off his human mummy's page 😏).
This evening, I presented it to Zuse's humans, and as predicted, emotions were high. Thankfully they love it, which I had a feeling they would, but it was lovely to see the reactions 😊

Happy midweek! Nearly the weekend 😁

The project I'm working on has a LOT of black ⚫️ in it, which means I'm using a LOT of black thread. I think I may have to go out and get some more supplies in 😳. For now, I'm listening to Abba, while eating cheese & onion crisps, and supping on mixed berries fruit tea. This tea is one I tend to like to drink when I'm working on something, and it tastes just like Drumstick lollies!

I'm also very glad I'm not filming my working snack - I have just had to vacate my chair quickly thanks to a wasp popping in for a brief sniff around. Those who know me, know I can pop a muscle looking the wrong way, so trying to escape the chair quickly could have been disastrous 🙈 Thankfully I extracted myself without injury, but it was not elegant 🤣

Sneak 👀 at a smidgen of the project I'm working on. I'll share the finished item once it is safely in it's new home. Until then, enjoy some random black stitching 😂

I'm currently working on a new pattern, one I have created myself from a photo. I'm not able to share photos yet, (recipients are page followers) but I can promise you that this one will cause tears upon opening!

Instead, I'll show you another "skill" I've gathered.....framing football shirts! 🤣 My husband is an Everton FC supporter, so he bought replicas of the teams memorabilia shirts, from their last match at Goodison Park. He now wants me to create a fabric collage of the teams' badge! He's been advised that he's on the waiting list 😉🤣
