I needed to see this quote today. This week I have felt like I've been living with a caged animal. My toddler has been wild, verging on feral and has been driving me bonkers. No amount of walks, play dough, messy play, creative play or otherwise has been enough to sate the beast! Until today, we met up with his little Bestie and he is like a whole other kid! Social interaction with his own age is obviously more important to him than I gave it credit for! It's hard to know what to do in this time of COVID, how do you help a child stay "connected" with friends when they arent a "fan of" phone or video calls?? I'm soo glad current restrictions are allowing meet ups like today. We are all going to bed happy!
