Holiday snaps, France 2026
I’d been getting frustrated with the monotony of the every day. Half term was days away and I couldn’t face the idea of hitting up the same old kids hang spots for another week on my own.
Money was tight from spending on the house Reno so no big holidays were on the agenda but I REALLY needed a change of scenery. So we looked across the sea, booked the ferry and a little static caravan an hour and a bit south of Calais and off we went.
Our campsite was as cheap as frite and ever so pretty.
We collected our patisseries every morning, the kids spent the days riding their bikes on the beach or in the swimming pool and by night we sat in our garden drinking french beer and scoffing crab claws and bbq steaks with sides of artichoke.
It was nothing fancy but delightful in every possible way.
Would do again. No notes.
