§ Placing an Order
To place an order with Banana Ink you can either message us via the contact form on our website, DM us on Facebook or Instagram.
§ Privacy policy
We value our customers and respect your privacy. Any information we collect about you is held with the utmost care and security. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protec
tion Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: to process / mail your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We will not share your details with any third parties for marketing purposes.
§ Availability
The majority of our items are made to order but at times ready to post items will be uploaded to our Facebook, Instagram and Esty pages with a full description and price. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available/been sold.
§ Accuracy of content
We take reasonable steps in the preparation and maintenance of this page to ensure that all prices quoted are correct at time of publishing, and that the descriptions of our products are fair and accurate. However, we do reserve the right to decline any order where there has clearly been a material error,or where there is an inaccuracy or omission in the price and/or description of any of our products and/or services as displayed or advertised on the page. All prices displayed are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges are calculated on size and weight of your order.
§ Delivery/Packaging
From June 2022 all our items will now be sent 1st or 2nd class Royal Mail delivery. Unless otherwise stated this will be the only delivery options available unless we find a more suitable option. Customers are also welcome to collect from our Studio in Market Lavington, Wiltshire, UK which will save delivery costs. We will make sure your item is well packaged and protected to prevent any damage in transit, if this means we have to use a larger box to do so then we will. Royal Mail also have an expected time frame for deliveries so please check with your chosen courier for up to date details and time frames.
§ Payment
Payments are made via Paypal. You may use your Paypal balance, Visa, MasterCard, or other cards that Paypal accepts. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the time your order is placed. If your payment fails for any reason, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of merchandise. We retain the legal ownership of all merchandise until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the merchandise will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the merchandise to you. Paypal uses the latest strong encryption technology to ensure that all transaction information is protected to the highest standard. A Paypal account is not needed to use this payment method. Custom/bespoke orders require full payment to secure your order and pay for any stock that needs to be brought in, and is required before I start work on any order. You can cancel your order and a full refund will be made but ONLY if we have not already gone ahead and started your order or ordered in any stock required to make your item(s). Payment plans can be made on orders over £100 and items will be dispatched when full payment is received.
§ Refunds/Returns
Banana Ink only accepts returns on ready made (non custom) or faulty items. They can be returned to us up to 14 days from the day after you receive your order. Refunds are not offered on custom/bespoke items. If however we feel that we are able to resell the item, we may choose to refund at our own discretion. Faulty items may be fixed or replaced if photographic evidence can be sent to us, highlighting the fault. We will then provide our postal address for the return of the faulty item. Personalised items are non refundable unless a spelling mistake has been made on our behalf, please check any spellings before making an order. We will always confirm a spelling when ordering to double check. When returning an item we expect it to be packaged the way it was sent, safely. We hold no responsibility for damages or loss in the post on return to Banana Ink. To cover this please return signed for or tracked delivery. Return costs are paid by the customer.
§ Notes to consider
Due to certain times being extra busy we advise you to make your order well in advance to avoid disappointment. All custom orders require at least 2-4 weeks before the date you require them by to be sure you receive them in time. Bespoke items can take longer to make than others and you will be given an estimated time frame for when they will be complete. Due to the current issues post Brexit and the global climate, lead times from our wholesalers are subject to vary and price increases, with little notice. We will endeavour to keep you informed if this happens but please understand this is out of our control and always check lead times before ordering if you are in in time sensitive situation. At this current time we ship to the UK and will gladly quote a postal cost to other countries. By purchasing from Banana Ink you are confirming you have read and understood our terms and conditions which are subject to the consumer contracts regulations as of 13th June 2022. These conditions are subject to periodic change as dictated by the above regulations.
