This well-loved Taylor Swift sweatshirt belongs to a 10-year-old superfan who was devastated when it tore. His mum brought it to me, hoping for a quick repair - and I was happy to do the job!

With careful machine and hand stitching, I mended and reinforced the damaged area, giving it a strong and tidy finish. Now, it’s ready for more adventures.

This repair was done in 1 day and cost £10, saving a cherished item from the bin. If you have a favourite piece that needs fixing, send me a message - I love rescuing clothes!

I was glad to help this lady who has both her lower legs in bandages. Her usual trousers weren’t fitting anymore at the bottoms, so I altered a couple of pairs for her by taking up the length and adding a side split. They work well and I’m happy I could help.🙂

Thank you for your continued support of my sewing repairs service. I work part-time now but can get lots of jobs done including mending soft toys, replacing trouser zips, sewing on badges, taking up hems and fixing broken seams. Feel welcome to message me if you have an urgent repair - like mending a school blazer for the next day - as even when I’m fully booked I can often squeeze in an emergency fix. 🪡😀.

I really enjoyed being part of the Marlow Repair Cafe team on Saturday. A couple of ladies brought in damaged toys, which I mended for them. Before and after pictures attached. The teddy bear is over 70 years old! I also suggested a way to fix a faulty leather handbag and gave advice on replacing broken zips. They are fully lined, comfortable, washable, adjustable and have a wire on top so are especially good if you wear glasses. Contactless collection is from Trinity Avenue, Marlow or I can post to you.
