My most complex make to date: the Jasika Blazer from

This one was a bit of a saga. Inspired by blazer on The Traitors, I scoured the net for days to find the perfect green boucle fabric which I got from Etsy. I was informed I could get a similar (if not the same) blazer from Zara but I wanted to DIY. I ordered the tailoring kit from Closet Core to help with my first tailoring project. After waiting maybe two months for the kit to come from Canada, I finally got started last month.

I’ve no idea how long it took to make but I’ve learned a few tricks on the lengthy journey and was chuffed to wear my own blazer (and my own skirt, hastily made the night before) to the Royal Highland Show!

MY PROUDEST MAKE

Entry for the Sew 500 competition.
I was swithering between two but I was so chuffed with my feathers in this one, they took and age but I love the floof and bounce they have. Plus they were my wee accessory hack to the pattern, as well as adding the slit.
