A little love for our Swap Tribe 🤍

Behind every swap are a few incredible people who give up their time because they believe in what we're building and honestly... we couldn't do it without them.
A huge thank you to Cat and Ami, who have volunteered at so many of our swaps over the past year. Powered almost entirely by coffee and their love for preloved fashion, they are always there helping us sort rails, welcome swappers and keep the day running smoothly. 💗

And of course, a special shout out to James, our official door man since day one. If you've been to a Swap Society event, chances are James was the first face you saw when you arrived.

Swap Society may have started with Meagan and Gracie, but it has grown because of people like this. People who believe in community, circular fashion and keeping good clothes in wardrobes instead of landfill.
Thank you for helping us make preloved feel social, fun and accessible. We appreciate you more than you know.

What’re you bringing to our June swap? Here’s a few ideas✨

This feels big 🤍

Not just for us, but for preloved fashion.
A clothing swap initiative, run alongside two very busy full time jobs, has made it to the finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards in the Fashion category. Sitting alongside established fashion and interiors brands.
When we started Swap Society just over a year ago, we just wanted to create something that felt fun, social and a little bit different. A way to swap clothes, meet people, support local venues and make doing something sustainable actually feel exciting.
Fast forward to now… and this nomination.
This proves something we’ve always believed - preloved deserves a place in fashion.
There is no difference between buying something new and giving something a second life. It’s still style, it’s still expression, it’s still fashion.
Swap Society is different because it’s not just about clothes.
It’s about the community. The people you meet in the queue. The coffee. The music. The chaos (in a good way). The feeling of leaving with something new to you and knowing you’ve done something better. And that’s why this matters.

Because if we can get a clothing swap event recognised in this space, it helps shift the narrative. It helps make preloved normal. It helps it grow.
