She’s here! 👶🏻 It’s been a busy and scary few days, but we are home and very very happy!!

The business will be closed for a while, but while baby Margot sleeps, I’ll be planning some newness to hit the Etsy shop as soon as I can!

And just like that, my little Etsy shop is temporarily closed while we prepare for the little one’s arrival!!

Don’t worry, I’m not closing forever, as soon as I feel ready I will be back taking orders! And I will be working on a few new things behind the scenes. So do give me a follow here, on Facebook and TikTok as I will be posting all shop updates here, and maybe a few behind the scenes of what I am working on! Plus I’m sure there will be lots of late night follows and like by me while doom scrolling through those night feeds!!

So, we are nearly at the end of this pregnancy, and I think at the end of this week, I am going to close my Etsy store for a short while. It’s getting harder to get out and about now, so rather than stress that I’ll have orders to send out when I’m due in hospital, I will close this coming Sunday!

We have a bunch of items ready made and ready to send, so don’t hang around if there is something you have your eye on!! We have some stunning jewellery pieces ready to go, some lovely summer bracelets that will set off that summer tan just right!!

At this point I’m not sure when I will reopen, we have a whole new world to navigate in the coming weeks, but I have lots of ideas and things I want to make, so I’m sure it won’t be too long!!

It’s been a warm one again today, I’ve spent the day hiding in a cool, dark room while organising a whole heap of baby clothes! But I’ve also listed this beautiful handmade bunting, made using the stunning Tilda fabric. If you would like this, be quick as I only have 1 available!!

The sewing machine may be packed away, but these fabric bag charms are still available to order from my Etsy store. Why not jazz up your bag, or get one as a gift for someone special!

We have made it to 35 weeks pregnant, and I think realistically I will keep my shop open for another 3 weeks. There are a number of items ready to go, some of the jewellery pieces are too. I’m not sure how long we will be closed for, I guess it will depends on how we get on finding our new normal with baby in tow! But I do have lots of ideas of things I’d like to add to my shop, so I’ll be making a very long list, and figuring out whether I separate the jewellery from the sewing side and create a new business. Or whether I even continue with Etsy and just start a website. Let me know your thoughts in the comments! What should I do?!

✨New in the Etsy shop!✨

These beautiful fabric wristlets and matching bag charms are now available, handmade from gorgeous Tilda cotton fabric. 🌸 I absolutely love this floral print- it’s the perfect little accessory to brighten up your keys, handbag or everyday essentials.

As I’m now in the final weeks of pregnancy 🤍, I’ve been having a big tidy-up of my dining room table (aka my craft room! 🤣) to make space before baby arrives! It’s amazing how much fabric and beads can accumulate!

The Etsy shop will be staying open for a little while longer, so there is still time to order before I take a little break. If you’ve had your eye on something, now is a great time to pop your order in!

Happy Friday!! How did we all cope with that diabolical heatwave? I didn’t!! I’ve spent the last 3 or 4 days in a dark room, fan blasting and my swollen feet in a tub of cold water! It’s been so hot in the house, I couldn’t even sit in the dining room at my sewing machine! I did manage to finish some bits on Monday but then ran out of energy to take photos and list them on Etsy!! That’s a job for next week now!

So here’s an older pic just to remind you that I am still here, and still haven’t Etsy shop open! Although I am going to have to have a think about when I close my Etsy store ahead of having this baby, and for how long, so if there is something you have your eye on, now’s the time to place your order!!

Just in case you’ve forgotten, I do still make and sell jewellery!! 🤣 I’ve been behind my sewing machine a lot recently, trying to use up a whole bunch of fabric that’s been in my stash for a long time, so if you are looking for some limited home decor or accessories, why not check out my Etsy store!

But before I started all that, I had listed a bunch of handmade jewellery pieces that I had totally forgotten to tell you about! But then we did find out that we are unexpectedly pregnant sooo!! Anyway, these beauties are available to order from my Etsy store. Made using freshwater pearls and jade gemstones with gold filled findings, these look great as stand alone bracelets or stacked up with all your favourites! Due to supply issues, these are currently limited run, so don’t miss out!
