As most of you are aware I have been very absent for the past few months & had taken a mental health break. Over my break I have made the hard decision to close the business for good, this decision has not been taken lightly in the slightest & I am gutted that I have to do this but I have to think about what is best for myself & my family.
I can’t thank you all enough for your support over the years, it’s been amazing to be able to speak to you all & create connections along the way!

So this is the end of the era of the original The Little Glitter Room which then developed into Misfits & Me I definitely learnt ALOT along the way & my skill set grew and continued to grow daily along the way. I am so proud of where I started & all the other businesses I’ve been able to help in the process.

It’s my fiancé’s 40th birthday tomorrow so I obviously had to order him a special cake from & I made him a matching cake topper (wording chosen by our daughter) I loved creating his cake topper & impressed with how good it turned out ✨🤍

Most of you have noticed my lack of presence lately on social media to which I had no clue I was being so absent.
I’ve been really struggling lately with my own mental health & had a few issues I needed to overcome.
Running a small business can be very daunting sometimes especially doing it alongside family life as it can take so much effort & energy to create that balance between them both especially when small businesses have to fight the algorithm all the time. I’ve honestly just wanted to scrap it all in lately but I’ve worked too god damn hard to get to where I am now whilst doing it around 3 young daughters!

I will be taking another 2 weeks off to get myself 100% back to normal before I can take anymore orders.
The website is also currently closed undergoing some revamping.

Please just be courteous when contacting small businesses & remember they is people behind the screen & they are human we still have feelings & lives!
