Wow... what an honour to have received an email to say I have been nominated for 2 x National Diversity Awards in the following categories
Positive role model awards for gender
and
Positive role model award for disability.

I've never seen myself as a positive role model, I just live a life I want my girls to be proud of me for, to be the voice for those who feel unheard, to be a valued member of society and know that my work, my presence and my voice are able to make a change, whether that be with my business adaptive clothing UK, helping victims of police abuse and / or miscarriages of justice, politics in running to become an MP or inspiring my girls to be a voice for others or over coming the life hurdles that have been in my pathway. So to know that someone sees me as inspirational and a positive role model for either gender or disability means I am doing things right and I am incredibly humbled to be thought of in such high regard

Business friends.

I won a competition by Theo Paphitis ( Dragons Den 🐉 ) to become part of his community. Part of that is to attend his annual conference. This year's is this Friday in Birmingham.
