The Lady Portdale Clutch/Purse

Made to compliment the Lady Portdale Bag, this elegant piece can be bought as part of the whole set but is equally confident and striking as a focus piece on its own.

The purse is made from 100 percent Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather and the embellishments have been upcycled from a the same pony bridle as the bag.

The closures are originally from the cheek piece of the bridle and the removable handle was originally the nose band.

Really excited to present the first piece from our up and coming "Equine Collection"

The body of the bag is hand made from high quality Vegetable Tanned Leather and the accessories have been upcycled from a genuine horse bridle.

The Snaffle bit has been added to the front to catch the eye. The shoulder strap has been made from the reigns and we retained the bit attachments in order to maintain its original integrity. The handle has been made from the brow band and is removable to allow versatility.

There are lots more pieces in the pipeline that will be added to this Collection so please let us know if you like this and share with your friends.

We are also happy to do memorial pieces with your own tack to help you immortalise your past pony or horse and can emboss names and dates to personalise it even further.

Say Hello to Inca and Indigo ! The official Wessex Leatherwork Mascots 😊

Indigo is a 6 year old Jack Russel Terrier who is proving to be an extremely wise and patient mentor to her very much younger 5 month old companion.

Inca is only 5 months old but learning so fast. Do you know what kind of dog she is ? Comment below if you know the answer. I bet only a few will get it right 😜

You will be seeing a lot more of these two as they model the Wessex Leatherwork Canine Collection and Country Canine Collections
