In celebration of Pride month, we're celebrating some of our all-time favourite creations, and drag queens hold a very special place in that list.

Drag has always pushed boundaries, whether thats of costume, performance art or society in a broader sense. The boldness, theatricality, and creativity has influenced the industry in so many incredible ways 💖

Over the years we've had the privilege of building some truly spectacular drag queen outfits, each one designed to turn heads, command a stage, and make a statement

Meet Maria, one of our Senior Creative Pattern Cutters 🧵

With over 50 years of garment making behind her, Maria brings a wealth of pattern knowledge to everything she creates at JMC. She loves the unique challenges that theatre costume brings, and there's nothing quite like seeing a costume she's helped build come to life under the stage lights

Warm, patient, and endlessly creative, Maria has a wonderful way of weaving decades of experience together with fresh ideas and we're so proud to have her as part of our team 💕

Congratulations to Peter for 1 year at JMC! ✨

It's been a whole year since Peter joined the team as our Lead Pattern Cutter, and we couldn't be happier to have him on the team. His calm, patient approach and incredible attention to detail make him an absolute cornerstone of our pattern room.

30 years of experience, and he still brings that same care and precision to every single project. We're so lucky to have you, Peter! 💖🎉
