Upcoming closures for Bank Holiday and annual leave.
We will be closed Bank Holiday Monday 4th May.
To accommodate David's annual leave we will also be closed Thursday 7th of May and Thursday 14th May. We will be open in between however the shop will be closed for lunch between 1pm and 145pm.

Services will have a slightly longer than normal turnaround time during this period as Sharon is working alone to cover the shop. Some specialised services such as zips and occasional wear etc will need to wait until im back to work. If you have any queries please feel free to call in advance on 02892 780074.

We appreciate your understanding, and we'll be back to normal operations ASAP.

Just a wee reminder that we require pre-booked appointments for all formal and occasional wear. This is so we can manage our time to sew and ensure we have the appropriate fitting rooms and slots free.

As spring/summer progresses, we may require appointments to try on regular garments on our busiest fitting days; friday and Saturday.
To avoid disappointment we do recommend booking in advance, particularly for multiple items to be tried on.

Thank you to all our 2026 brides for confirming your appointments with us. We've been working hard to finalise our bookings for 2026, but we will continue to update if any other free slots open up. We always advise booking as soon as you have your date locked in. We dont even need your dress on order. Just the date. If anyone has any queries for future bookings, for bridal, or our design service, please feel free to call and we'll do our best to answer any questions. Our number is 02892 780074. Hi, we'll be finalising our Bridal availability for 2026 soon, but at a glance we only have a handful of spaces. April, June and November. We will of course follow up soon with our final count.

Some Wedding dress alteration appointments have opened up for this spring/ summer etc. We have a couple of slots free for April, June, July (1only), and September. These appointments will fill up fast, so please get in touch sooner rather than later if you need our help.

We are still waiting on a few more confirmations for this season, so if you'd like to be out on a cancellations list for any of the other months, feel free to get in touch with your details.

At present we can only take group bridesmaids bookings with a wedding dress, as there are only a limited amount of slots available for those. But as above we can put you on a wait list if you'd wish.
