Family time doesn’t need to be complicated.

It doesn’t have to be a big day out, cost lots of money, or be perfectly planned.

Sometimes it’s just sitting together, choosing colours, having a chat, making something, and enjoying a little moment away from the busyness of the day.

That’s what I love about creative activities. They give families a simple way to slow down, connect and make memories together.

The simple moments often become the ones children remember most.

Behind the scenes at Sand Arts & Crafts… and yes, it really is as messy as it looks

I’ve been busy filling hundreds of little sand tubes by hand and putting together the new colour collections.

Each pack contains eight coloured sand tubes and costs £3. There’ll be Rainbow Brights, Halloween, Christmas Sparkle, Winter Princess, Dino Adventure, Galaxy, Mermaid Magic and Unicorn Pastels.
